Jacob is now 11 weeks old.  I can't believe how fast time flies and how much Jacob has grown.  Mommy goes back to work on Monday and Jacob gets to go to day care.  We visited the day care center where Jacob will be going and all Jacob did was flirt with the ladies.  Enjoy the photos!

August 22, 2006 – Jacob Ryan Herness is born!

On 12:15pm, Tuesday August 22, Jacob Ryan Herness entered the world weighing in at 8 lbs, 2 oz. He was 19 3/4 inches long. He has a pretty thick head of brown hair as you'll see from the pics below. Also, from the nurse's comments (we don't have much of a reference point), he has pretty long fingers and he is strong. On his first night, he was already lifting his head when we were bumping him.

 

Mom and baby are doing great and expecting to come home Fri, Aug 25. Cari did end up doing a c-section, but everything went wonderfully. Now, for the important part:
